Funny! Speaking of velvet paintings, made me laugh out loud....downstairs in our rec/relax/bar area, we have an old on velvet toreador paint by number, that Jerry did in his 20's for some odd reason; I rescued and framed it and he has gotten used to it...from afar it doesn't look as bad as close up but it does make us smile. Maybe someday the grandkids will inherit it! Maybe it will end up in a dumpster:)
Als ich noch ganz jung war, besuchte ich einen Stierkampf in Spanien, ich hatte ja keine Ahnung, dass die Stiere getötet werden, ich dachte die tanzen da einfach ein wenig herum mit dem Stier. Ich war entsezt und es hat mich geschauert wie die Menschen Spass an dieser Veranstaltung hatten.
Ja, ja das sind so Ferienerlebnisse von annodazumal, da habe ich noch nicht fotografiert. Liebe Grüsse Elfe
Elfe, Ich bin nie an einem stierkampf gewesen. Ich kann es nicht ausstehen wenn ein tier gequaelt wird. Ich finde es auch entsetzlich dass so viele daran Freude haben und es immer noch erlaubt ist in Spanien.

Titania, I missed this post last week. What fun! Our state fair still has boards like these where people can stick their heads. But of course they have nothing to do with Spain and the bullfight.
