Sepia Saturday; being silly...

First the Torero and then...

...dancing the Flamenco!

I do not think such silly pictures are still taken in Spain! This must have been in the fifties.

Gosh, we didn't know each other then!

Please visit Sepia Saturday.

  8. Funny! Speaking of velvet paintings, made me laugh out loud....downstairs in our rec/relax/bar area, we have an old on velvet toreador paint by number, that Jerry did in his 20's for some odd reason; I rescued and framed it and he has gotten used to it...from afar it doesn't look as bad as close up but it does make us smile. Maybe someday the grandkids will inherit it! Maybe it will end up in a dumpster:)

  10. Flamenco okay, Stierkampf nein!

  12. Lovely photos. I love the first one - are they family members? The other two are quite funny. I like pictures like these. Enjoy your weekend.

  14. Titania, I missed this post last week. What fun! Our state fair still has boards like these where people can stick their heads. But of course they have nothing to do with Spain and the bullfight.
